Zen Ocean Plaster
Eco. That word is getting to be overused.
It seems that just about everything is advertised as being 'Eco' these days. How do we know which products are really ecologically sound? What does it take for a product to really be good for the environment?
Well, how about a product that is made from an entirely natural substance which would otherwise be thrown out as a waste byproduct, and which itself can be recycled after use? Which also helps to clean the air in your house, while making your home's interior more comfortable, and beautiful as well? Sounds pretty good.
Zen Ocean Plaster is the name we've given to Aimori Eco Products' seashell-based interior wall plaster. This product makes use of the waste shells from Hokkaido's scallop farming industry. Used as an interior plaster it is easy to apply, is strong and long lasting, requires no maintenance, looks beautiful, and helps to both filter the air and control humidity within your home.
Aimori is a local Hokkaido company formed in 2003 with the goal of developing locally made, environmentally friendly home and interior products. We began helping them with their marketing in January of 2008. In February we attended the Buildex Construction Show in Vancouver where our Zen Ocean Plaster booth received a lot of interest from interior designers and architects. In September Zen Ocean Plaster was featured in the 100% Materials Design Show in London.
We have now helped Aimori to receive attention from around the world, and are currently working on various exhibits, shows, and distribution agreements in Canada, the U.S., China, the U.K., and at home here in Japan.
