Lake Toya Guide
Lake Toya Guide is a travel guide to Lake Toya here in Hokkaido. Lake Toya was the site of this year's G8 Summit. It is a beautiful area surrounded by nature, with many walking trails, sights to see, and with plenty of volcanic action, some wonderful natural hot springs. We created a site that is a combination interactive map and travel guide.
This site is a unique concept, utilizing a full screen flash page for the main map site and an internal cms content management system for data. In addition to using the site as a travel guide, users can create a profile page and upload their photos, write messages to each other, and interact with locals, people who have visited, and those looking to visit.
