Last night Chris Nelson, author of the upcoming book Cold Water Souls, and photographer Richie Hopson arrived here in Hokkaido.

Starting a new company is hard work. Starting a new company for the first time, where half the team is in a foreign country, using their second language, is extremely hard work! Needless to say, the last year has been extremely busy for us here at konnichiwa-japan.

Here's a little story about surfing in Hokkaido I posted on another blog a couple of years ago. A lot of people seem to be interested in surfing in Hokkaido so I'm re-posting it here. - Evan
