Our international team comes from diverse backgrounds, but we all share one common goal - to help bring together Japan and the rest of the world. We do this by helping you to localize your content to meet the language, cultural and other requirements of your target market, whether you're selling to Japan or from Japan to the world.
This includes designing and developing in a way that removes barriers to localization or international deployment, and includes such things as taking into account regional preferences for design and layout, cultural significance of colors, etc, and the various nuances of language. When creating content for international viewers, proper planning and implementation is important. Retrofitting a linguistically and culturally-centered website for a global market is much more difficult and time-consuming than designing the website with the intent of presenting it globally from the start.
Internationalization occurs as a fundamental step in the design and development process, rather than as an afterthought that can often involve awkward and expensive re-engineering. Trust our experts to help you portray the image you want and that your customers expect.

Originally from Vancouver, Canada, I have been living and doing business in Japan since 2003. I speak English and Japanese, doing business in both on a daily basis. I am committed to helping connect Japan internationally and am actively involved in international business development here in Hokkaido.
I was elected Chairman of the Hokkaido International Business Association in 2011 and am an active member of several other Hokkaido business organizations. It is my strong belief that Hokkaido has a bright future and the potential for sustained economic growth, if local business and government actively invest in developing the key sectors of technology, tourism and transportation.
Growing up on Canada's West Coast I spent summers working on my father's fishing boat and have a great love of the ocean. On the rare occasions I can get out of the office I enjoy spending time swimming, surfing and sailing in summer, and skiiing in the winter months with Hokkaido's pristine champagne powder snow.
